Rhea Chakraborty’s castle at Bombay High Court was scheduled to be heard today but has now been postponed to September 24 due to heavy rain in the city.
Rhea Chakraborty’s legal custody along with her brother Showik Chakraborty was extended until October 6 on Tuesday. The actress’s legal team has now applied for a civil ground in Bombay High Court, which was supposed to be heard today but has now been run until September 24 due to heavy rain in the city. According to Times Now, Rheas’ bail states various reasons for the bail, which the actress has previously also dealt with.
According to the report, Rhea has stated in her bail that she observed her deceased boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput “smoking cigarettes containing ganja” which he “got and got for himself” while taking some help from his household staff. She also added that she tried to wean him off the habit, but the deceased actor developed a “deep taste” for the cannabis cigarettes during the filming of Kedarnath.
Rhea’s bail also mentions the abuse incident in June 2019 that had taken place between her and Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh. Rhea has announced that the deceased actor’s eldest sister Neetu had called and threatened him that she would report a false criminal case about his quarrel with Priyanka.
The Supreme Court of Bombay has declared a holiday for HC after serious water logging in the city. Today’s board will take up tomorrow: Satish Maneshinde, Rhea’s lawyer.

Rhea added that Sushant was disturbed because Neetus’ husband is an IPS office and the late actor was worried that they would use connections to “force and threaten” him. Rhea has further stated in her bail that in order to resolve cases, she contacted OP Singh and Neetu and said that she would go to the police about the abuse incident if they filed a false case against Sushant. According to her, this step seemed to “scare” them.
She also told about her trip to Europe where SSR allegedly became ill after living in a “Gothic hotel” in Florence, Italy. Rhea has claimed that Sushant was “worried and disturbed”. The actress also claims that Sushant then told her that he had a similar incident in 2013 and was treated by Dr Harish Shetty then.
Speaking about changing apartments, Rhea said that Sushant told her and Shruti Modi to look for other apartments because Capri Heights was haunted. Meanwhile, Rhea reveals in her bail that they lived at the Waterstones Resort in the city because the late actor did not want to spend time on Capri Heights.
Rhea and Showik’s bail will now be heard tomorrow, ie. on September 24, 2020.
