It’s a classic pairing: A glass of fine, red wine and some wonderful salt, sophisticated cheese.
A less classic pairing? That cheese comes from Taco Bell.
It’s a pair that some fast food lovers will soon be able to try, as the chain debuts its own custom wine.

The limited edition drink, which under a funny name is called Jalapeño Noir, is currently sold at Taco Bell Canada, both online and in selected stores. The drink is intended to be paired with the restaurant̵
As CNN reported, Jalapeño Noir will not arrive in the United States, although the chalupan will arrive in the state in November. Still, that didn’t stop Taco Bell fans everywhere from weighing in on the article.
Some thought the drink, produced by Canada’s Queenston Mile, was outrageous, calling it a “trashy” and “trashy”completely ridiculous“Idea.
“Have I finally lost myself? Can someone disconnect the matrix and reconnect it, ”wrote a Twitter user.
“Hello 2020, enough already”, wrote another.
“Why that,” added another.
Other Twitter users seemed happy to try the wine, which costs $ 25 Canadian dollars online (about $ 19 USD). Customers seemed to agree, given the drink was sold in just a few minutes.
The announcement of Jalapeño Noir comes just a few months after Taco Bell made extensive changes to the menu. The changes included removing several items – such as its Mexican pizza and several potato-based dishes – that had a cult following among customers.
Meanwhile, other restaurant chains have made their own surprising moves to the world of beverage manufacturing. As if this year could not be weirder, Mountain Dew and Red Lobster announced their collaboration on a “Dew Garita” cocktail, available nationwide by the end of 2020.
